Under the scheme, construction workers who have completed 60 years of age and are registered as construction workers in the Board for 10 years will be paid a pension of Rs 1500/- per month for life.
On the death of a construction worker pensioner husband registered under the Board, 50 percent of the pension amount will be payable to the wife and on the death of the pensioner wife, Rs 750/- per month will be payable to the husband as family pension.
